Plants

Early spring flowers are the surest signs that warmer weather is coming.  They give us hope of the future and help brighten our landscapes.  Some of the fun Spring Flowers to enjoy in your garden are:

  • Snowdrops – are one of the first to show their tiny heads replacing winter’s blanket of snow.  They let you know spring is near

  • Forsythia – announces the return of spring with bright yellow splashes of bell shaped blooms.

  • Daffodils – also known as Narcissus are a perennial bulb that gives color & life to your garden with minimal care when planting and thrive with virtually no concern.

  • Phlox – a bloom sight to behold - creeping ground cover in rock gardens or woodland plantings.

  • So many more flowers and bulbs will be cover in the next few weeks.

Do not remove foliage of any bulbs until they have  turned yellow, so that the bulbs  have a chance to store nutrients for next year.
